Let's just say for the majority of the morning.

Sick with croup.

Ella said " Can we get Tater died, and get a new Tater that isn't sick?"

She misses playing with her big brother and doesn't know exactly how to go about expressing it.

8 years

8 reasons I am as happy as ever with the guy I get to share my life with. (in no particular order other than they way blogger loaded the pictures):

1. He is a hard worker. If he doesn't know how to do it, he will figure it out. I am not that way at all, and come to rely on him often. Probably something he can't relate to and may not love about me in return. ;)

2. Caviar is just not for him. No fine dining for us folks.

3. Because yesterday I was sick and spent the whole day in bed, and although I had moments where I felt like I should be dead from the pain, what I remember is the feeling of gratitude and deep love for a husband who will step up and take care of it all. Without having to be asked. Funny how although I could have been on my death bed, I felt blessed as I lay there quietly in my bed listening to my sweet husband take care of the kids from sun up, to sun down. No arguing. Just pure patience from a loving dad taking care of his kids.

4. He doesn't always think before he acts. Sometimes good, sometimes bad; regardless it's him and I love him for who he is.

5. He's alway's getting us outdoors and involved. If it isn't to watch his soccer games, it's out hiking or bowling. Be it indoors a science day, or making puppets. He prefers to learn and teach, and like I said before, be involved.

6. Because he supports me in everything I do and know's the things that mean a lot to me.

7. Need I say more?

8. And because we make for one insanely good looking couple!...

Tears

Ella came to me, pulling up onto my lap with her bottom lip quivering and a sad little face that was holding back tears. She pointed to the movie she was watching (Li*o & St*ch) and couldn't get a word out before she started to cry. It was toward the end when he get's left behind. I wanted to cry with her. She has a soft side after all.

Mom's Wedding

It's been 15 years that my Dad has been gone. More than half of my life I've lived with out him now.

A new chapter is unfolding.

She married John, (who lost his wife nine years ago & who is so great for her) the first of the year.

Part Uno

For whatever reason posting these pictures has been really hard for me to get done.

I keep putting it off thinking I will share once everything is finished to the point of being furnished and decorated. Realizing that I am going to take my sweet time to get anything done on the decorating home front (I can't bring myself to put a hole in the wall for crying out loud) I will share unfinished pictures.
