WOOHOO!!!

UPDATE: Circuit City is not the best deal this year. Walmart probably is, but we went to Best Buy to get the limited edition box set with all the cool extras. We cant wait to start watching so we can get pumped for season 4. 3 hours of deleted scenes, its going to be crazy.

Jessie woke up this morning and she was so excited for The Office, so now that finally makes 2 of us. Do any of you remember how season 3 ended?

Only 30 days left until the premier of season 4, mark your calenders. I can feel the excitement in the air. This season definitely promises to be better then last year.

For those you that can't wait The Office season 3 will be available on DVD September 4th, thats only 7 short days away. (Circuit City stores are usually cheaper then anyone else.)

Oh ya

You Are Basic Panties

You are a laid back chick with a real natural beauty.
You can make unwashed hair and minimal make-up super sexy.
Men tend to notice you show the "real you" - and they appreciate it.
And while basic makes boring for some, it looks classic on you.

This is totally the way that I am.

Banff

We are back from Banff and happy to be here with Tate, but missing the luxury of the independence that you get from vacationing without children! Big thanks to our moms for taking care of Tate so that we could have fun, and not have to worry about him!

We stayed our first night in Lake Louise. First, we headed out to the lake to canoe. It was beautiful. My favorite thing about this whole place was the color of the water. It was such a pretty blue.

Hiked down to a river on our way to Banff.

On the road to Banff we saw an Elk that charged us and many others. (Don't worry there was a fence between us!)
We were thrilled that we saw wildlife so close.

We stayed our second night in a beautiful Hotel in Banff.

From our Hotel we hiked down to Bow Falls.

All dressed up for dinner at a restaurant next to our hotel.

The next day we went horse back riding.

We had some adventures on this ride! For one, my horse tried to lay down with me on his back! Good times, I loved it! Cole was just glad he was not on my horse.

We went on a Gondola ride to the top of a mountain.

This is the hotel that we stayed in our second night.

A nice float trip down the river. Our guide lived in Utah for 30 years!

We rented bikes and within 5 min. it started to pour. The wind was so hard that the rain and branches were pelting into my legs and it hurt so bad. We didn't get much of a ride in.

I loved the moss that was everywhere in the forest. It was such a sight to see!

Everything was either so green, or such an amazing color of blue!

Mountain peaks - The Three Sisters

What a great trip.

Passports

Well, we are now going on our 16th week and still have not received our passports. The post Office employee said for sure that we should have them by now. Thats not the case. It's sad our 8 day trip to Costa Rica had to be canceled, hopefully we can plan another trip down there some time. There were just to many problems with documents required. The ones we needed were with our passports, and getting copy's from the vital records office would take 12 weeks. Needless to say the process has been a headache.
When you call the Passport office they will tell you anything to get you off the phone. We called on the 24th of July to get them expedited. When we called back a few days later They said that it had never been done. So we had them do it then, they only expedited Jessie's, she may or may not have heres in time. Cole's needed to be expedited again it wont be here. They told us that time that it wasn't their problem (obviously not we are the ones that are loosing all the money) and like it was no big deal they told us to set up an appointment at the office in San Fransisco. Like ya no big deal, it'll only cost $700 to get a round trip ticket, oh ya and add that onto the $200 originally for the passport. $900 passports, Ya, hmmm.... I don't think so.

Fortunately there are "relaxed" requirements to get into Canada as well, not just back into the US. So we are going to spend 5 Days in Banff and the surrounding areas. The things we have planned should make it a fun and relaxing trip, sort of, meaning it might not be that relaxing, not that it wont be fun. It is totally opposite of what we had planned but it looks like it'll be a real great time with all that we have planned. Plus I think Tate has been dieing for a break from use for a few days. Thanks Grandmas.
That said I know we could have gotten our Passport applications in sooner, but hey back in April we just decided we'd go on a trip and the Post Office employee said we would have them in plenty of time. Any how, it surely inst Cole's fault. So don't leave any negative comments, I wont post them anyway.

Eclipse

Here is my little review:

Don't worry I won't give anything away!

I have to start off with my sisters story about getting her copy of Eclipse. She got her 9 month old twins, and her 2 year old all loaded up and ready to go to the store first thing in the morning.
But she couldn't find her car keys anywhere! Come to find out after tearing the house apart, her husband thought it would be a funny joke to take her car keys so she had to wait longer to read the book! NOT EVEN FUNNY!! It was sold out everywhere and the store that she reserved one for herself at didn't keep books for people. She was in tears! (Understand that she is pretty couped up with 3 under the age of 2, and looks forward to "her time!") Luckily her hubby found her a copy!
Husbands - this is not something to take lightly! =)

I just finished Eclipse yesterday and it was fantastic! I still think Twilight can't be topped, but I liked this one better than the second. She answered a lingering question that I have had about Bella and Edwards relationship, and I'm so glad that she did because now I don't have to assume anymore! I'm sure everywhere you go you'll see this book in a girls hand, and yes they are sold out - so if you want to get your hands on it my copy is up for grabs!(As long as you promise to return it in good timing, I can't have it away from me for too long!)

Alpine Slide

We thought that it would be fun to take Tate on the Alpine Slides.
We thought right. He had a ball!

He got a little antsy on the chair lift up, and I had to keep pointing out "look how high up you are Tate, hold still!"

Mom's are so lucky. Not only do we have to carry whatever else we are doing at the moment, we usually have a child in hand also!

Tate finally let me put him down.
This is my favorite part of going on the Alpine Slide. The walk through the quakies is beautiful!

At the top getting ready to go down!
I went first so that I could get a picture of them at the bottom. I thought Tate would be a little apprehensive because of how loud it is on the ride down but he seemed to enjoy it.

They have a new ride "The Coaster" and it looks dang fun. Kids have to be at least 3, so we'll do that one next year!
