 June in pictures.

A little taste of those outfits I talked about:

Cousins in town:

Scootin:

My Cousin got married the same weekend we blessed Andie. Resulting in a lot of family time which I loved every minute of. My Mom got to stay down here and be close for the whole weekend. It was great. I was so happy that she was here to spend time with Andie on her big day.

His last game is tonight. It has been so fun to watch him play third base and play his little heart out. Watching him play baseball is a completely different experience than watching him play soccer. When he is on the soccer field he is confident and there is no stopping that boy. He is dang good, and he knows it. And I love that. I love that we've found something that builds his confidence. Baseball on the other hand is a different story. He is good don't get me wrong... I think he is a natural athlete. Either that or he listens and he really tries. Anyways. I love his timid expressions and his stance out there on the ball field. I never want to forget the way he throws that ball from third to first. The way he looks at his coach after a small mistake for approval OR when he has a good play. He has this little look and nod that he gives and it's hard to tell if he is really having fun. He takes it very serious, and says he has fun. The way he and his best buddy are like magnets to each other. The way his Dad is always the assistant coach for his team so that he is there for him and a part of his life. He is cool like that. The way the girls hit up the treat stand and cheer from the bleachers. Baseball. Good times.

My brother and his family stayed with us this past weekend. She played as hard as she could play and after a couple of days those late nights finally caught up to her. In the evening after a long tantrum she fell asleep. At 8 pm her dad woke her up. It took a minute for her to stir and he asked her if she wanted to go outside and eat dinner. She said I want breakfast. Not giving it much thought he got her up. With a confused look she kept saying little things like it looks foggy outside. Finally she said, why is it getting dark in the morning? She thought she had slept through the night and that it was the next day.

We celebrated Memorial Day this year at the cabin.
It was a blast and here's the proof:

We had a fabulous fathers day weekend. It was non stop go the entire time, in which Andie proved to be the best baby we could ever ask for. We just love this little angle. Cole was able to share his special day with his baby girl and give her a blessing. She was awake and looked right into her daddy's eye's as he spoke to her. He did a great job. It was another proud wife and mom moment, and while it was her moment, I couldn't help but feel blessed as well.

El likes to throw all sorts of parties. She once traced her hands and feet on paper, cut them out and then delivered them to people announcing they were invitations to her kite flying party. It never really happened so when she exclaimed she wanted to have a sprinkler party I did my best to make this little dream a reality. She invited some cousins and was very specific to the adults and babies invited as to what they could do. The kids played in the sprinklers & flew around with their towels being super heroes while the babies splashed in their kiddy pool. and. if my memory serves me correct a couple adults made their break through the sprinklers as well.
Good idea El. We'll see what other parties will be put into works.

I've decided it would be so fun to take pictures of her in all her randomness.
If you live close by you know first hand that she can create some very amusing outfits.
How great would it be to make a book full of pictures of her. From her painting in the nude with goggles on, to her in the jogging stroller with her bat girl mask on. Or her winter pajamas with rain boots, or daisy dukes with a coat and leg warmers. She colors on her face with markers almost daily. It's not limited to her face either. I closed her door in her room to find that she had taken the liberty of decorating it. It's probably an ongoing thing when she has been locked in there in trouble. Those markers are the death of me. I find things around the home that have her signature all over it. This evening I heard the baby fussing a little bit. I saw E sitting next to her. Later when I went to climb into bed I noticed the sound machine had been moved and was tucked right up next to her ear. She's creative. She's wild. She rarely chooses to listen. She is as clumsy as it gets and she's a wee bit crazy, but I have to admit she makes me smile a dozen times a day - this little one does.
Oh, and she got a hair cut. It's adorable.
