I'm thankful for this little one.
She is so good.
She loves to snuggle into her blanket and fall right to sleep.
And while she doesn't sleep so great at night...
I'm strangely thankful for the quiet time it provides us.
Just the two of us.
...and now Will Sm*th is running through my head.

If you know El this video sums her up.
If you don't... meet my girl:
Yelling at the bugs, stashing rocks in her pockets, spontaneously dumping grass all over her baby sisters face, singing in her yelling voice, her sassy attitude, the outfits, and the way she would rather focus her attention on anything other than her awesome mom trying to video her... or should we call it her will to never stop!?!

Over the weekend:

We finally made a swing for that tree in the backyard.

The kids laughed & laughed as they swung back and forth.
These moments are priceless.

We enjoyed being outside.

Cousins in town:

Scootin:

My Cousin got married the same weekend we blessed Andie. Resulting in a lot of family time which I loved every minute of. My Mom got to stay down here and be close for the whole weekend. It was great. I was so happy that she was here to spend time with Andie on her big day.

His last game is tonight. It has been so fun to watch him play third base and play his little heart out. Watching him play baseball is a completely different experience than watching him play soccer. When he is on the soccer field he is confident and there is no stopping that boy. He is dang good, and he knows it. And I love that. I love that we've found something that builds his confidence. Baseball on the other hand is a different story. He is good don't get me wrong... I think he is a natural athlete. Either that or he listens and he really tries. Anyways. I love his timid expressions and his stance out there on the ball field. I never want to forget the way he throws that ball from third to first. The way he looks at his coach after a small mistake for approval OR when he has a good play. He has this little look and nod that he gives and it's hard to tell if he is really having fun. He takes it very serious, and says he has fun. The way he and his best buddy are like magnets to each other. The way his Dad is always the assistant coach for his team so that he is there for him and a part of his life. He is cool like that. The way the girls hit up the treat stand and cheer from the bleachers. Baseball. Good times.

My brother and his family stayed with us this past weekend. She played as hard as she could play and after a couple of days those late nights finally caught up to her. In the evening after a long tantrum she fell asleep. At 8 pm her dad woke her up. It took a minute for her to stir and he asked her if she wanted to go outside and eat dinner. She said I want breakfast. Not giving it much thought he got her up. With a confused look she kept saying little things like it looks foggy outside. Finally she said, why is it getting dark in the morning? She thought she had slept through the night and that it was the next day.

We celebrated Memorial Day this year at the cabin.
It was a blast and here's the proof:
