We had an unconventional egg hunt this year.
We hunted for confetti filled eggs (one full of glitter which was the "prize egg") and then ran around smashing them on each other. Apparently having an egg smashed on your head involves a little pain... so next time I think we'll say smash them on bodies instead.
Better yet, we'll get the adults in on it and go crazy!
All in all, it was a blast and fun to watch even if there was a little pain involved.

The rest of the weekend was followed with more egg hunts, family visiting from out of town, teaching, (which turned out to be my worst delivery of a lesson yet. I already know that I'm not a natural teacher. No surprise there. But come on, why can't I just be one of those people that don't have to prepare weeks in advance and bam - a great lesson given!? Actually, I don't mind the preparation it takes. What I mind is that I prepare, and I still fail - miserably) ...eating, family bike rides, talking as family about our love for our Savior Jesus Christ, and pillow talk about it all.
