Who's child?

This morning Tate made me smile yet again!

He was eating cereal and the next thing we knew he was throwing it all over the kitchen floor. He is totally into sweeping things into piles and then picking it up and putting it into the garbage. It used to be that he wasn't good at it and would just sweep the piles all over the floor again - not anymore. He has mastered the broom!

After he was done with one pile he would start all over again. It's actually impressive how well he sweeps the hole floor into a pile. This just made me smile because when I was little I remember doing the same thing.

Halloween

I absolutely love Halloween

In an attempt to try and make decorating my house a little easier next year, I decided to take pictures of all my "displays" so that I don't even have to think next time I set up. My mom used to do this, so I guess I'm becoming more and more like her! (Scary? No - I think that is a good thing!)

Scrabulous

Holy Crap, this is so great, finally someone to play my favorite game with me.

Scrabble is my favorite game ever. Now I can play when ever I want and I dont have to beg someone to play with me. You should sign up its FREE. Waste hours and hours of your time.

Cabin

I went up to the cabin on Friday with my mom for the weekend. Cole had a few tests and wasn't able to make it up with us. We ended up missing him more than I thought!

This is just as we arrived. (Note how happy he is!)

Rachel and Greg came up on Friday night. Isn't Addie cute?

This is the way we found them watching a movie in the other room.

It snowed while we were there and it was beautiful. The reason I love going to the cabin is for that reason... it is so pretty and relaxing.

The kids loved it when the Chipmunks would come to snack.

Taylor and Lauren came up Saturday afternoon. They had fun playing...

and dancing...

and chasing each other.

The trip ended a little sooner for Tate and me. He was tired of trying to share with other kids and wanted to be alone. He told Addie, "bye Addie, go home!" At this point I was ready to go myself. Maybe it was the lack of sleep the night before, or the fact that I was up there alone without Cole to help - what ever the reason I was emotionally spent! My mom let me take her car and we drove home last night. Tate kept saying "happy, go home!" He fell asleep halfway home and we all got a good nights rest.
It must have been the sleep because I'm ready to go back up for more!
