Best Friends

Ella and Harper got these cute little matching outfits for Christmas and we've been waiting for them to fit into them to get their picture together. The shirt has two little monkeys on it and says "best friends."

I'm Wishing...

Ok, so this is what I have been consuming all my time around:

I just reread the Twilight series to be totally prepared for the next & final book Breaking Dawn!
I am back to wishing that The Cullens really exist and that maybe the beautiful pale person standing next to me at the grocery store might be a vampire! I have forgotten how much I enjoy these books.

This time around I became a total Jake fan! Last time I quickly read through all the parts about Jacob waiting for Edward to come back into the picture. I almost wanted Bella to pick him instead... ALMOST!

Up To

I won't say what I've been up to because I may do a post about that later, but it's had me totally consumed for the last week or so!
I did manage to get the camera out once or twice during my period of being totally and hypnotically entertained!

I love the clouds in the sky in this one - and also the crazy subject

4 Months Stats

Ella is now 4 months old and I am loving her all the more. Sad to say but I have never been one to just melt over little babies. I love it when they get to be 4-6 months and are more responsive and happy... and it just gets better the older they get! It's been a lot harder for me to have a fussy baby with Tate to deal with as well. I was lucky that he came first though. I think I would have been hospitalized if she were as bad as him. (Not really, but I had my moments)

Couple things about her:
She has a smile that makes you smile
She slobbers and her shirt is always soaked
Tate made her laugh for the first time ever. He was saying "I love you" and she was giggling pretty hard
She snorts really loud
She is a decent napper

Cabin

We had a work party up at the cabin which gave us a good reason to get up there.

There were TONS of trees to saw and then split.
My Uncle Gene is a stud! I was amazed at how hard he still works!
All the other helpers were studs as well! (did I just call myself a stud?)

Tate has the funniest run. He always puts one arm into it, but this time he was sprinting. It is the fastest and longest I've ever seen him run. He had both arms into it this time. He almost fell when he was trying to stop. I wish I had it on video because it was so typical of him.

4th

The 4th is one of my favorite holidays. We had a water party, BBQ, and fireworks show at Aunt Karens.

GREAT WEEKEND!

I'll get to our fantastic 4th of July weekend but I have to keep things in order here... I know it's not like me to get behind on blogging, but I've been busy for the first time ever! =)

Ella had her first experience swimming. She's a girl after my own heart - she loves the water! Anyone who knows Tate well enough can assume that he would not like the water, so I'm happy to have one that does. I hope it lasts.

She fell asleep while I was holding her in the pool, so I set her in a little floaty in the shade.
So far my kids are polar opposites. I never would have imagined that she would fall asleep that way. NEVER would have happened with numero uno!
