Play Group

We now have a playgroup, and it's so fun.

Not only do the kids love getting out and playing with each other, it's beneficial for us Mom's as well!

Today we met at my house and they made little marshmallow men.

I got the idea from familyfun.com and they didn't turn out quite as cute, but they seemed to be pleased with them.

1st Real Snow Fall

This morning we woke up to a nice snow covered winter wonder land.
What a way to welcome in the month of December!

Tate couldn't wait to get outside and play in it.
He sat in front of the window watching the snow fall until I finally told him we could go outside and play in it.

He had so much fun walking around in the snow.
I on the other hand, got sick of sitting outside pretty quick. He wouldn't come in until his shoes were soaked through and his little feet were icicles.

Happy Thanksgiving

When I woke up this morning too early with Tate I started thinking of the things that I am thankful for...

*To wake up and be warm in my house. Especially today for some reason!
*I am glad that my son is clever, so when he wakes me up too early he says things that make me laugh instead of be mad.
*To watch my husband be calm and sweet to our boy. Is there anything better?
*For my mom who is always so willing to help me.
*For the time I will have to spend with both sides of my family.
*To be able to have so much food to eat. Gotta love it!
*That people forgive each other.
*For extra blessings of patients.
*For my health. It's such a blessing to be healthy.
*That my husband is always willing to help out so that I can rest and be happy.
*For my friends that I have been friends with forever. I love that we still get together.
*For a car that runs - when it does! =)
*That my family has enough food to eat, and clothes that fit.
*Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ who are always there for me.
*For all the good people out there. While there is so much bad, there is still so much good too!
*For the gift of giving. I love that people help each other.

I have so many blessings
I could go on forever, but I won't. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I'm a fan of Adam Sandler Movies. I Loved Click and Spanglish, so when I saw this on the shelves I picked it up.

A little advanced warning: Don't watch it if you're pregnant. It's extremely emotional! (Also, look for it edited if language bothers you.)

I am trying to find a giant lollipop similar to this one. Has anyone seen something like it around? I tried the candy store at Thanksgiving Point and Online. I'm not having any luck unless I want 20 or more. If you have any ideas let me know... Thanks!

Challenge

Last night I asked Cole who he thinks could go longer without eating candy. He didn't know, so I challenged him to find out. Seeing as how he hasn't had a drink of carbonation for a year and a half I think he's got a good chance! But hey, I have a pretty strong back bone when I want to, so I think I am going to win for sure... Plus the prize is too good to pass up!!!
