The Office (don't miss it this week)

OK, according to Pam Beesleys blog this weeks office is the one episode this year definitely NOT to miss. She may be building up the hype but the previews look pretty good.
There are only a few new episodes left this year so don't forget to tune in.

The Gundy's BBQ

80º Hurray!

Grandma T. bought a plastic pool and some water toys so the Boys could get out and play together. Pictured is Tate and Mason. Uncle Trev (not pictured) also played/swam with the boys.


So hot, but oh so cold.


The boys loved playing in the water with this ball sprayer. It sprayed them in the face though, and Tate didn't like that to much.


I had Tate all dried off and ready to go home and I turned my back on him for a minute. Tate went outside and I found him sitting back it the pool! This pool is going to be a definite must at our house. He played in it for 5 1/2 hours!

Cool Dude, Cool Do

Cole did Tate's hair the other day and they were both so excited about how cool Tate looked.

You can see that tail above his shoulder in the upper picture. Isn't that awesome? Cole thought so.

Cole wanted to send him to church like this, but we didn't know if they would allow this ruff neck in the nursery.
After looking at these pictures we knew it was time to give it another shot at cutting Tate's hair, that's easier said then done.

Hair Cut "Round Two"

At first Tate was a little worried about cutting off his mullet, but after time he became excited about the idea of a new stylin do! Last time we attempted this, I gave up and buzzed his hair. Maybe he's learning a few things! Although it wasn't exactly easy, he never sits still for anything. What can you expect from a 2 year old though right!

Petting Zoo

Today was a fun filled day for us. We went to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point. This was Tate's first time there, and needless to say, he was stoked!


We went with Tates two cousins Mason, and Ben. It was so fun to see them run around and have fun together. Here they are checking out the donkey that Tate referred to as "Shrek" because he looks like Donkey on the movie!

It was funny to watch as Tate came around first on the horse, holding on having fun, but as always- looking a little cautious; followed by Ben who was in tears, but eventually warmed up; followed by Mr. dare devil himself - Mason! and judging by the look on his face, this was the most exciting event to take place yet!

We were worried that we wouldn't get any good pictures today. Last time we tried to have them taken he was naughty and never smiled. This time he was all smiles, he was so great.

Easter BBQ

We had a BBQ at Grammy O'Neals to celebrate Easter. Tate and Olivia went on an Easter egg hunt and got lots of cool stuff. They each got a fun bouncy ball and they had so much fun playing together. Tate got a Shrek action figure, and you better believe he loves it!!! Thanks Grammy!

Easter Egg Hunt

The day before Easter we went to a family Easter egg hunt at Aunt Karens. The kids all had a ball! Mason came dressed as a little chick! Lauren, he looked great! They got to decorate their own bags to put their eggs in, go on an easter egg hunt, and they even got to meet the Easter Bunny, who gave a present to each child. He must know Tate because he gave him a Shrek Pez! He carries him everywhere, and takes him to bed. Last night Tate woke up in the middle of the night and said "Shrek!" I had to get him his Shrek Medicine!

Shrek

First it was Cars and now it's Shrek. Tate loves Shrek. He has to watch the first and second dvd every day. Grandma Tuttle was thinking of him today and picked him up these Shrek PJ's. He was so excited he ran back and forth through the house three or four times pointing at the different characters on his shirt while he was screaming and laughing.
When ever we go grocery shopping these days Tate picks out everything that has a picture of Shrek on it, examples: toothbrush, fruit snacks, cereal, yogurt, ect... The other day we got home and we had taken the cereal out before we check out and he noticed. He's a good little shopper and he knows what he wants, and remembers what he puts in the cart.
Tate has been real hard to deal with the last few weeks so we took him in and he had a double ear infection. They prescribed some medicine and he hates to take it. How do you think we get him to take it without any problems? You guessed it, we tell him it is Shrek medicine and he's more then happy to take it.
